Morning peeps! So here is six from my historical (regency) romance work-in-progress Midnight Blaze. (Just a reminder this project is still in its infancy.)

James followed the dirt path into his garden; memories of his many dalliances here flooded from the shadows, reminding him he was a man with needs, but suddenly his needs tormented him as he sought out his future. A future he’d not once expected in this life time. How could one woman, solely bring him to his knees, and bring forth a madness he’d never experienced before nor was he taught the cautions that came with falling in love. He loved her, and he couldn’t fathom the lengths he went to in bringing her back from the grips of one of London’s most notorious characters. She was damaged yes, yet she stirred a passion beyond from those rose bushes, he’d found her in once. Her innocence possessed greater value than she realized; he longed to call her his–wife–the mother of his children.

That’s it for me, so be sure to check out the other fab posts this week at www.sixsunday.com. :)
